After obtaining a Masters in Infectiology completed jointly between the Institut Pasteur and the EPFL, Véronique Menoni shifted her focus to clinical research and its ethical issues, defending her doctoral thesis in medical ethics at Université Paris 5 Descartes on the subject of consent.
Véronique Menoni worked at Hôpital Necker (Paris 15), managing phase II-III clinical studies in pediatrics, hematology-oncology and rare diseases. She then joined an international CRO, IQVIA, and participated in the clinical development of multiple monoclonal antibodies in various diseases, including a first-in-human phase I trial. Véronique then moved to the non-profit sector, joining the ICH (International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use) to coordinate international projects to harmonise clinical development standards.
In 2017, she joined the Clinical Research Centre’s Quality Unit, which provides hospital investigators assistance in implementing quality management systems, internal audit services and advice on preparing for external audits or health authority inspections.
