Thomas Perneger

Thomas Perneger has a clinical training (doctorate in medicine in Geneva, FMH in internal medicine) and methodology (master in public health, master in biostatistics, PhD in epidemiology of Johns Hopkins, FMH in prevention and public health).

Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, he teaches statistics and epidemiology to students and directs the Certificate of Continuing Education in Patient-Oriented Clinical Research.

His research interests include health service evaluation, the development of instruments and methods for clinical research, and the quality of care. He is the author of over 200 scientific articles, journals, or book chapters.
