Holder of a doctorate in Neurosciences from the University of Geneva obtained in 2018, Laurent Brodier worked from 2012 to 2020 in fundamental research at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Geneva, where he studied the formation of the retina.

It was during this period that he developed an interest in bioinformatics, which he used for the analysis and processing of microscopy images, and the analysis of transcriptomic data. He also follows several training courses in data science and programming.

In 2021, he joined the Clinical Research Center at the HUG as Data Manager.
